Before You Go

Dress in Layers

Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet. Even summer evenings can drop into the 50s. Bring a jacket or hoodie.

Wear Comfortable Shoes

About a mile of walking on flat, paved sidewalks. No trails, no stairs, no rough terrain. Sneakers or boots work perfectly.

Check the Weather

We walk rain or shine, but monsoon season (July through September) can bring sudden downpours. A light rain jacket or small umbrella is smart during those months.

Bring Your Phone

Photo opportunities at every stop. Some guests have captured unexpected things in their photos. We just report what we see.

Parking

Free street parking is available throughout downtown after 5 PM. The Heritage Square garage (San Francisco & Aspen) is a reliable backup.
